Little Mushroom Dining Lounge “opens”
For those Little Mushroom lovers out there — and for anyone looking for an introduction to this innovative and dedicated community food leader in Waterloo Region — here’s a bit of an update from founder Stephanie Soulis.
Forging ahead despite the pandemic, look for Little Mushroom, based on Sheldon Drive in Cambridge, to be “open” a few days a week — as far as “open” means open in a time of Covid-19 rules and restrictions, Soulis says.
“Little Mushroom Dining Lounge is now open for hot, fresh, upscale take-out on Thursday and Friday for lunch and dinner and for Sunday lunch,” Soulis says. “This is the first time that we’re going down the take-out route.”
She adds it’s a new route they are taking and with some new team members. “Chef Matthew Foote is at the helm, while Kevin Rhind will be joining us as new front-of-house manager as soon as we can open the dining room.”
Soulis says they are currently discussing the option of including a third-party delivery app.
“We are giving that some consideration.”
