Tomorrow, April 22, is Earth Day.
The first Earth Day was back in 1970 — I wouldn’t say we, as 7 billion people, have really done enough to stop the destruction we’ve wrought — and we should reflect on that date and our actions pretty hard.
And accept that we need to do more about it now (if it’s not too late).
Many area restaurants are doing what they can — even in terribly straitened pandemic circumstances — and they deserve our support.

There’s a short run-down of what several local food businesses are doing, via Explore Waterloo Region.
Do what you can to support all local businesses, but let’s also reflect on these ones doing what they can.
