Quesabirria tacos at Latinoamerica Unida

Reading Time: < 1 minute

I’m late to the quesabirria taco spectacle. They’ve been around for a while, and while I’ve munched, I haven’t explored them as a unique dish.

I advise you to do so: if there’s a richer, juicier, drippier taco that coats your lips and satisfies crunchy-meaty-cheesy desires as much as the quesabirria, I don’t know of it.

Quesabirrias are Instagram food-cult all-stars, having captured the limelight through the social media platform from a driveway food-stall in Richmond, California, and Los Angeles food trucks as a likely regional specialty of Tijuana.

The humble hand-held is a full-fledged foodie phenom across the continent.
