Yeah, then it’s time for pizza. That’s amore.

Here are three of my favourites for just about everyone’s favourite pie for the weekend.

Bee Sting pizza, Earth to Table Bread Bar, Guelph
Sweet meets savoury, via the the bienenstich pastry: Tomato sauce, Mozzarella, lemon ricotta, basil, olive oil infused with fresh and dry chilies, soppressata hot salami and a generous drizzle of local honey.

Detroit-style pizza, Graffiti Market, Kitchener
The deep dish helps create an essential element of the pizza’s quality: a thick, caramelized crust, about an inch deep, that is at once crisp and chewy. It’s truly delicious.
