Frannie’s Restaurant and Bakery’s Pies for Ukraine is still going strong. Visit their website to learn more.
So far, the restaurant near Breslau has raised $10,000 that goes to chef Jose Andres’ World Central Kitchen to help the people of Ukraine against the brutal, ruthless, rapacious (and raping) Russians.
More happily … spring has sprung. There is a Pollinator Popup and Panel taking place a TWB Brewing.
The Earth Day Weekend event features plant-based pizza from Wooden Boat on Saturday and snacks from Odd Duck on Sunday.
And beer, of course, from TWB.
On Sunday, farmer Angie Koch of Fertile Ground and Dr. Dana Church, Ph.D. and author, will be talking about the importance of pollinators during this period of Earth Day/Earth Week.
